Santo Tomas at the International Farmers Summit 2026!
The Santo Tomas delegation of farmers, led by Vice Mayor Timoteo “Dick” S. Villar III, proudly attended the summit at the SMX Convention Center Manila. Bringing with them our proudly local, corn-based products such as kakanin, chichacorn, and other truly MAISarap delicacies — they showcased why Mais is the official OTOP of Santo Tomas.
The delegation also had the opportunity for a photo op with Engr. Rosendo So, Chairman of SINAG, strengthening ties with key leaders in the agriculture sector.
The summit provided valuable insights on new technologies, sustainable farming practices, market opportunities, agricultural products, and current agricultural policies, empowering our farmers with knowledge and connections to further grow and compete.
Indeed, Santo Tomas continues to move forward — innovative and resilient.
